Getting Started at Shoreline Community College

your educational and personal goals. We are strongly committed to your academic success
and will provide you excellent instruction, a rich environment in which to learn,
and a variety of student support services and activities.
Your success starts here at Shoreline Community College. Use this checklist to keep track of what’s needed prior to the first day of class. Enroll now and get closer to your dreams!

5. SUBMIT YOUR OFFICIAL COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS
Arrange to have official college transcripts sent to Enrollment & Financial Aid Services and submit a Request for Transcript Evaluation if you are seeking a general transfer degree. See shoreline.edu/transcriptevaluation.
6. REGISTER FOR CLASSES WITH GUIDANCE FROM AN ADVISOR

7. PAY TUITION
8. ATTEND NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
9. BUY A PARKING PERMIT
Buy your quarterly parking permit or bus pass at the Cashier’s Office, (FOSS 5227) building or at the bookstore (parking passes only). Details at shoreline.edu/parking.
10. GET YOUR STUDENT ID
Get your free student photo ID at the Bookshore. Bring proof of tuition payment and a legal photo ID with you. Details at shoreline.edu/id.
11. BUY YOUR TEXTBOOKS AT THE BOOKSTORE
